Sliced Christmas

Hello Everyone,
Tell me what do you get when you make lots of cards that are shorter than your pretty papers? Any ideas (think)
A: Lots of paper strips. I was at a loss as to what to do with all of these until I looked at the CAS(e) this Sketch challenge and found this challenge going at the moment.

So I was able to use up a lot of my strips and since I had all the supplies out I ended up making 2 cards at the same time. This is a photo of one of the creations:
simpleChristmas.jpgIt’s a simple card but I really like it. I think I am going to have to keep this sketch in mind for using up other scraps I have in my stash.  Yeah I know I should probably just throw away any scraps – but I don’t like wasting any of my beautiful papers.

Thanks for stopping by and looking at my creation today. And as always before you leave I would like to leave you with this thought:
This is definitely my prayer for the coming year.  May the New Year be so much more loving than 2017. Best Wishes to you all.

Have a Happy Crafty Fun filled kind of Day,
My Name
